Anime Club Invitation

Meet with teens who love to discuss anime and manga, view movies and share their artwork! 

 

The next meeting is Wednesday, December 11th from 4-5 pm in the Lovell Room.  Refreshments served! Bring a friend! 

 

This group is open to all middle and high school students and we are extending a special invitation to all 6th graders that are interested. No RSVP is necessary. Please join us this Wednesday and find out more!

Library to Close Veterans Day

Make sure you plan your assingments accordingly!

The Library will be closed on Sunday, November 10 and Monday, November 11, 2013 in observance of Veterans Day. 

The library will reopen on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 10 am.

Current library hours are:
Monday-Thursday: 10-8
Friday-Saturday: 10-5
Sunday: 1-5 pm.

The library will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2013.  

We are open this Saturday 10 am-5 pm and
Sunday from 1-5 pm.

 We will reopen on Tuesday October 15th at 10 am.

Teen Readers win FREE LIMO RIDE to first day of school!

Meet the winners of the Stratford Library Teen Services Summer Reading Program grand prize of a FREE LIMO ride on the first day of school.  Jeff Donaldson, owner of Absolute Best Limousine in Milford, has donated the free ride as the grand prize for the Teen Summer Reading program.

Stratford Library's Creativity in Motion teens will present an original theatrical comedy/teen angst piece entitled: You didn't make the cut!".  Tuesday, August 20th at 6:30 in the Library Lovell Room.  This event is FREE and all teens are welcome and light refreshments will be served.

Black History Month Celebration & Contest

The Stratford Library and South End Community Center Black History Month Celebration is scheduled for this Saturday, February 9th at 11 am in the library Lovell Room.

Black History Month Contest

South End Community Center and Stratford Library-Teen Services Department sponsor our annual
Black History Month Contest and Celebration for
ALL Stratford students in grades 6 - 8.

Essays or art must be returned to the Stratford Library Teen Services Department by January 25, 2013. All entries must include: students name, age, grade, school, teacher and contact number.

First, Second and Third Prize winners will be formally announced and awarded their prizes on Saturday, February 9, 2013 in the Stratford Library Lovell Room at 11 am.
