STRATFORD LIBRARY OFFERS "SNOWMAIDEN" FOR HOLIDAYS DEC. 2



The Stratford Center Holiday Festival will begin at the Stratford Library with a special, live performance of “The Snowmaiden” on Wednesday, December 2 at 4 pm. The free event will precede the Town’s gala tree lighting and choral programs at Stratford Center.

LIBRARY TO CLOSE FOR THANKSGIVING

The Stratford Library, 2203 Main Street in Stratford will close on Wednesday, November 25 at 5 pm and all day on Thursday, November 26 in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday. The library will reopen on Friday, November 27 at 10 am.
Current library hours are: Monday-Thursday: 10-8, Friday-Saturday: 10-5 and Sunday: 1-5 pm. For further library information, call 203.385.4167.

Youth Review Board

A monthly meeting of students (grades 7-10) who read, review and recommend books for teens. Your opinion counts! Snacks are served. Your recommendations are published annually in the Gold Seal Booklist.

Other activities: volunteer in the Children's Department, our annual book sale, our summer reading program and more.

Creative Writing Workshop


Monthly group of high school teens who love to write both prose and poetry and share their writings. The group is working this spring on publishing the 4th edition of their own literary magazine, Varied Voices.


We meet from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the Lower Level Board Room. Meetings are on Monday evenings.
